Keighley Albion Ladies 38 West Leeds 10

KEIGHLEY Albion Ladies led from the first few minutes with Emma Templeton scoring out wide uphill with Amy Illingworth adding the extras.

Within a few more minutes and, after a great set, Templeton dived over again in a near duplicate try. West Leeds replied downhill with no conversion.

Laura Ackroyd was next on the scoreboard with a great dummy and diving over try-line.

Templeton got her hat-trick after a hanging high kick from Ackroyd was caught and a perfectly-timed run saw a great try. Leeds were next on the scoresheet.

Sarah Shillito scored after breaking through the Leeds line and brushing off defenders for a glorious try. The extras were added by Illingworth.

The second half saw Albion in the driving seat again with some great runs from new signing Chelsey Holder.

Saima Hussain managed to dive over the lineout wide. Sarah Cartwright scored after a fantastic downhill run.

Some promising runs and tackles came from Nicole Hannah. After that Caroline Bruderek stormed over under the posts for her first try.

Albion travel to East Leeds on Sunday.
