STEETON started the brightest with neat build-up play down the right from Daniel Ambler and Lewis Gardner resulting a cross to the far post. This was met by Alfie Rutherford, who's header went straight into the goalkeeper's hands.

A few minutes later Harris Khan has a shot from the hedge of the box which again dropped into the goalkeeper's hands.

On 12 minutes Steeton nearly take the lead, good play in midfield between Harris Khan and Ciaran Fleming resulted in a through ball to Lewis Plumb. He chipped the goalkeeper and, with the ball heading towards the corner of the net, the Silsden defender cleared off the line.

This seemed to kick Silsden into life with Will Berresford nearly getting on the end of some through balls from the Silsden midfield. However, Steeton defenders Joel Oxford and Foysol Ullah were doing an excellent job of keeping the Silsden's forwards out. On 19 minutes Lewis Gardner cut inside from the right and before unleashing a powerful shot from the edge of the box which flew over the crossbar.

Lewis Plumb went close with another shot from the edge of the box on 25 minutes.

Steeton got the first goal on 29 minutes, Daniel Ambler won the ball on the right before playing an excellent pass down the line to Gardner. He went right, cut inside, before shooting left footed from 18 yards out, scoring the first goal.

Two minutes later, in almost a mirror image of the goal, Gardner dragged a shot wide this time.

Silsden equalised on 35 minutes, a long ball over the top managed to find the Silsden striker behind the Steeton defence. He ran clear and coolly slotted past Brad Picken in the Steeton goal to make it 1-1.

Both teams had good periods before half-time and could of scored, Steeton had good opportunities through Khan, Ciaran Fleming and Alfie Rutherford.

Steeton started the second-half playing some lovely football, Fleming went close with a shot from inside the box. Steeton nearly regained the lead on 56 minutes, Lewis Plumb shot from outside of the box, the ball looped over the goalkeeper and hit the underside of the crossbar. Rutherford was then unable to score the rebound with his shot going over the bar.

Silsden took the lead with a brisk counter attack down the left-hand side. The ball was crossed into the middle and placed into the net to make it 2-1.

Steeton's Conner Andrew and Daniel Ambler both went close to equalising.

The deserved equaliser came on 70 minutes. Some excellent build-up play started in the Steeton defence when Joel Oxford gave Barney Cope some space down the left. He played a lovely ball into the box to Lewis Gardner, who controlled the ball first time with his left foot before finishing with his right into the corner of the net for 2-2.
