SILSDEN Feyenoord Under-17s reached the Harrogate & District U17 & U18 Styan Cup semi-final following a 2-0 win over Beckwithshaw Saints.

Silsden knocked out Tadcaster Magnets u17s in an earlier round with a 6-3 away win.

Luke Latham assisted Joel Phillip, who scored a cracking first goal for Silsden in the first half and skipper Olivier Tetteroo-Smith assisted Scott Taylor to deliver a well-fought second goal.

Silsden's man of then match went to George Gledhill for great defending, depriving the Bulls a comeback.

The win takes the boys through to the Styan Cup Semi Final (date to be confirmed) where they will play away against Nidd United or Wigton Moor United.

Team Feyenoord will play the Bulls away again on Sunday in the penultimate league game where they are guaranteed the Harrogate & District League runners up spot.

They will also compete in the Harrogate & District U17 Cup Final on May 12 against Pool United. The boys will participate in the Blackpool International Cup on April 20-21 against England, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany and Denmark.
