ANDY Foster has stepped down from his role as manager of Steeton Reserves.

He took over the reigns midway through the 2014/15 season after Clark O'Dwyer left the club.

In his time as manager he has won three Keighley Supplementary finals and also guided the club to seventh in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division, following the first team's promotion to the North West Counties.

In his time, Foster has also helped with the progression of young players such as Andy Briggs, Ben Clarkson, Joe Mason, Alistair Morgan, Toby Jeffrey and Freddie Maddocks step up to the first team.

Foster is staying at the club and working behind the scenes.

The reserves assistant manager, Andy Howland, has also decided to stand down as he wishes to continue his playing career.

With the reserve team moving to the Yorkshire Amateur League next season, the hunt is now on for a new management team and the club is looking for suitable candidates.
