SKIPTON CI are the leaders of Mewies Solicitors Craven & District League Division Three after a comfortable win at Hepworth & Idle II.

Hepworth posted 132 all out with Mike Newell (44) top scoring, as Danyal Iqbal took 4-15 and Rob Cockell (3-44). Skipper Martin Chisnall (34) and Luke Cater (32no) took the Skipton side home.

Foulridge II are second, a point behind. They were at Oakworth and clobbered 287-8 with number nine Humza Jutt making 105no, Faraz Ahmed (57) and Tamoor Munir (47) with James Powell finishing with 3-35.

Oakworth were dismissed for 140 with Nail Saynor (48no) carrying his bat and Steve Powell making 39 as Taimoor Mushtaq finished with 4-25.

Kev Pollard scored 61 and Tom Cleaver (33) as Thornton-in-Craven posted 143-9 at Silsden.

Will Pullen performed the hat-trick in his 4-24. Silsden could only muster 67 in reply as Mark Laycock (4-16) and Dan Oldfield (3-15) took the bowling honours.

Riddlesden, at home to Glusburn, were dismissed for 94 with Akeel Rashid making 46 as James Tillotson took 3-12.

Park Field’s skipper Steve Brown (36) saw his side to a comfortable seven-wicket win.

Haworth II were no match for Bradley as they lost by nine wickets.

John Duffey (6-31) and Jack Andrews (3-12) helped Haworth II back to the pavilion for 80. Ben Schindler (46) saw Bradley to the spoils for 84-1.

Embsay II had George Arkwright (40) and loanee player John Roughton (36) to thank mainly for their solid 170-9, as Towhid Ali took 4-47.

After a bright start, visitors Bingley Congs II fell 35 runs short of their target. Dave Hemsley made 38 as Jack Kitching claimed 4-24.

In Division Four, Cononley withdrew their seconds from the league.

Ingrow II sit on top after a six-wicket victory at Hainworth over Wilsden II.

Wilsden made 119 with Nigel Butterfield (35) top scoring as Ryan Higgs took 3-14. Abid Hussain (60) saw Ingrow II to the spoils.

Bingley Congs III are second after a seven-wicket win at Glusburn II.

Going first, Glusburn posted 151 with Mike Egan making 48 as Rob Stow finished with 6-14. The successful reply was led by Dan Marshall, who scored a stylish 101no together with 33 from James Watson.

Denholme II are third after a thrilling one-run victory over Skipton CI II.

Neil Spencer and Chris Dennison both contributed 40 as Denholme made 103.

Skipton were always in the hunt and fell agonisingly short with just one ball to go as Asher Nutting took 6-29.

There was a similar finish at Penistone Park. Matt Mallick (73) and Martin Walker (61) helped nine-man Keighley III to 201-7.

Jan Haider (89) and Lee Humphreys set up the exciting finish which saw Long Lee II close on 200-3.

Oakworth III went down by nine wickets at Bradley II.

Cowling II scored 176-8 at Sutton II with Zahid Shafait (53no) leading the way as George Elrick took 3-48.

Sutton replied with 58 as Zahid Shafait (5-14) and Sajid Shafait (4-1) tore the heart of the home side.
