KEIGHLEY Cougars have continued their recruitment drive by signing David Weetman on loan.

The 21-year-old loose forward joins Cougars until the end of this season and has been allocated the number 40 jersey.

Weetman has made one substitutes' appearance for Thunder this year in their 21-20 defeat at Workington Town in the Challenge Cup on March 31.

After graduating from Thunder's academy set-up, Weetman made his first-team debut in a victory at Hemel Stags in June last year.

He becomes new Cougars head coach Rhys Lovegrove's latest capture after he signed Ryan Wright, Marcus Webb and Spencer Darley on loan deals earlier this month.

Cougars’ 19-man squad to face London Skolars tomorrow: Jordan Aitchison, Matthew Bailey, Will Cooke, Jack Coventry, Chris Cullimore, Spencer Darley, James Feather, Macauley Hallett, Benn Hardcastle, Dom Horn, Josh Lynam, Jack Miller, Jason Muranka, Jordan Parry, Alfie Seeley, Jamie Thackray, Matt Welham, Lewis Wray, Ryan Wright
