BINGLEY Congs II are four points clear of Mewies Solicitors Craven & District League Division Three, after they saw off Silsden in the top-of-the-table clash by 52 runs.

Bingley went first and rattled up 219-7 with Andy Blackburn (59) and Tom Parker (55) being the best batsmen with three wickets each for Kieran Lawrence and Jack Roberts.

Silsden replied with 167 with Wil Pullen making 67 and Towhid Ali taking 3-20.

Skipton CI are second following their comprehensive eight-wicket triumph at Haworth II.

Haworth were brushed aside for 68 with Jacob Stephens making 27 as Matt Ryder claimed 3-14.

After finding themselves 2-2, the Sandylands side strolled to victory with Luke Cater (41no) and skipper Martin Chisnall (25no) putting a match winning 69 for the third wicket.

Phil Binner 5-20 and 30 was the star of Bradley’s five-wicket win at Hepworth & Idle II. Jack Andrews (3-24) and Chris Kimberley (37) were his supporting acts.

Glusburn found some form as they brushed Oakworth II aside by 89 runs.

Steve Brown (64) and James Tillotson (38) helped Glusburn to 211-9 as Bradley Powell (3-35) and Jake Keslinki (3-40) bowled well.

Powell top scored with 48 out of 122 as Brian Hollis (4-32) and Dom Mortimer (4-34) took the bowling plaudits.

Thornton built on a first-wicket stand of 78 by Kev Pollard (55) and Steve Laycock (31) to post 179-6 as Jack Kitching claimed 3-42.

Embsay fell 13 runs short of their target for the loss of six wickets. George Arkwright (39) and Robin Youngman (36no) battled away to no avail as Mark Laycock finished with 4-41.

There was a terrific finish at Riddlesden.

Riddlesden made 181 with Mohammad Qadeer (47) and Ibrar Ali (42) leading the way as veteran Ray Tunnacliffe finished with 5-32.

Visitors Foulridge II found themselves 58-6 then Humza Jutt (50) and Asrar Sarwar (49) put on 91 for the seventh wicket to set up a tense end as the Noyna side fell just two runs short of their target.

In Division Four, Denholme II maintained their four-point advantage at the top.

They travelled to Bradley II and made a modest 109 with Neil Spencer (31) top scoring as Henry Meynell (4-14) and Andy Greenwood (3-26) grabbed most of the wickets.

In reply the Matthew Lane side were brushed aside for 69 with Lily Bell making 16 as Spencer (4-26) and Adie Shires (3-20) bowled well.

Cowling are second. Keighley III were too strong for Gargrave II up at Penistone Hill. Andy Coppen (44) Paul Barker (38) and Matt Mallick (37) ensured the homeside reached 174-6 in their 40 overs. The visitors could only make 105 in reply.

Skipton CI II were too strong for Airedale II. Skipton made 186-5 with Ian Burke (68) and Sefal Allam (45no) doing the main business as Lee Rickerby claimed 3-29. Ben Wooller (39) was the mainstay of Airedale's reply of 123-7.

Sutton II were in sparkling form as they trounced Oakworth III by 10 wickets. The Cure Hill side made 48 in 33.4 overs with two players scoring 13 apiece as Nathan Coventry claimed 3-18. Sutton romped home in the 11th over with Stuart Tillotson (23no) and Josh Franklin (20no) doing the business.

Wilsden II's Tanveer Hussain scored a superb 112 off 92 balls which included 19 fours and one six. He added 165 with Mudassar Riaz (64) as their side closed on 253-7 in their 40 overs. Glusburn II could only muster 79 in reply in which Adam Coney scored 41no as Imran Khan took 4-17 and Oliver Holdsworth 3-18.

Finally, there was run fest at Ingrow II where Long Lee II were the visitors.

Long Lee blasted 231-6 in their overs thanks to Lee Humphreys with a great knock of 105 to go with Jan Haider’s 72 as Abid Hussain took 4-35.

Ingrow got home by four wickets with just four balls to spare. Aaron Pearce 63no, Adie Weatherill 54 and Martin Pursey (45) were the main run-getters.
