PAUL Hague netted an early brace as Athletico cruised to a 3-0 win at rock-bottom Steeton Reserves in the Yorkshire Amateur League Supreme Division.

Hague also set up the third, with Izatullah Ghaznewal's 50th minute strike making sure of the victory.

That away win puts Athletico third, just three points behind leaders Wortley and second-placed Farsley Celtic Juniors.

Juniors had a real scare away to mid-table Route One Rovers, winning a thriller 4-3 thanks to a Danny Lyons hat-trick.

Toller's home game with Leeds City was postponed.

St Bede's maintained their title push in the Premier Division, as they thumped Nostell M.W. 6-1 away from home.

There were doubles for both Tawheed Ahmed and Jermaine Moyce.

Danny O'Donnell was the star for Wibsey, netting a hat-trick as they picked up a fine 3-1 win at Morley Town.

It was just Wibsey's third win of the season.

In the Championship, PFC were suffering badly at Crofton Sports, losing 6-1 just after the break.

They then walked off the field of play, leaving referee Ian Knee with no choice but to abandon the game.

The outcome of that clash will be decided by a league committee.

PFC have now dropped to the bottom of the table, admittedly having only completed three games, as they were overtaken by fellow strugglers Idle.

Idle picked up a superb 4-3 home win over Hanging Heaton, with an Aaron Irving hat-trick key to their victory, which was achieved despite Luke Chandler being sent off for two bookable offences.

Lowly Gomersal & Cleckheaton also picked up a vital win, beating Leeds Medics & Dentists Reserves 2-1 thanks to goals from Adam Ibnouzaki and Harvey Lockwood.

TVR United are unbeaten after five games and they ran riot in a 6-3 home victory over Ealandians Reserves. Hasnain Mohammed, Asif Iqbal and Faisal Shabir all netted doubles.

In Division One, Tyersal slid to a 2-1 home defeat against fellow mid-table side Beeston St Anthony, despite a Kenneth Erhabor goal.

Struggling Fairbank United lost 3-1 at home to Farsley Celtic Juniors Reserves, while finally, Athletico Reserves lost 3-1 at leaders Lepton Highlanders.
