KEIGHLEY Cougars head coach Rhys Lovegrove has named his 21-man squad for tomorrow’s visit of the West Wales Raiders to Cougar Park, but sadly there is no spot for James Feather.

The veteran was under consideration, as he seeks to break Phil Stephenson's summer appearance record of 343, but he has not made the final cut.

Lovegrove has made two changes to his squad for this weekend’s game, following the defeat to Workington last weekend.

Robert Matamosi is named for the first time since the Challenge Cup loss at the London Broncos in March, and Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e is also included for a competitive game for the first time in the 2021 season.

The teenager could make his professional debut on Sunday after returning to training at the end of May following the completion of his exams.

The players who are not involved this week following the defeat at Derwent Park are Jack Arnold and Alfie Seeley.

Mo Agoro (leg) has now been medically cleared to return following the injury he sustained in the Round One victory against Doncaster last month with Scott Murrell (hamstring) also expected to feature after recovering from the injury that ruled him out in Cumbria.

This weekend’s game comes too soon for Ben Stead (hip) but both Billy Gaylor (shoulder) and Wellington Albert (ankle) started their rehab this week as they look to begin their respective returns from injury.

Alix Stephenson (leg) is nearing the beginning of his rehab after having his boot removed at hospital on Thursday.
