KEIGHLEY Cougars star Wellington Albert is fundraising in order to help a severely ill family member.
The prop's father has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and the family are trying to raise money to send him from home country Papua New Guinea for specialist treatment in the Philippines.
The full chemotherapy and radiotherapy Albert's father needs will cost around £40,000, and to meet the cost, the rugby league star has set up a GoFundMe page, while there will also be a fundraising dinner back in Papua New Guinea.
At the time of writing, just under £2,000 has been raised of the £5,000 GoFundMe target, but you can add to that tally by donating here.
