THE second edition of the Ultimate Pool Champions League returns on Monday, February 7, with live coverage on FreeSports TV in the UK and ultimatepool.tv everywhere else.

Won last year by Keighley potter Chris Melling when he defeated Michael Hill in the final, the 2022 Ultimate Pool Champions League expands to 64 players and will be played across several weeks on Monday nights.

As well as a major 8-ball title, the eventual winner will claim a cool £10,000.

All 48 Ultimate Pool professionals are set to appear in the event, but there are 16 spaces available for players to join them in front of the television cameras in the main arena.

An open qualifying event will take place at Players Pool & Snooker Lounge, Newcastle-under-Lyme on the weekend of January 29 and 30.

FURTHER DETAILS

The event will be straight knockout, no seeding (match lengths to be determined)

The final 16 will all qualify for the main 2022 Champions League draw

Entry is £100 and open to all

The closing date for entries is midday on Friday, January 14, 2022

To enter, please contact Zac Leonard via Facebook, zac.leonard@ultimatepoolgroup.com or on 07809 616876

Please note, if Ultimate Pool is inundated with entries, it will need to hold early round matches on Friday, January 28.

There isn’t a strict cap on entry numbers, but Ultimate Pool may need to close entries earlier than advertised if the numbers become prohibitive. Should the entry numbers reach a ‘capacity’, Ultimate Pool may consider holding qualifiers at more than just one venue.

The main draw will be held at Players Pool & Snooker Lounge.
