KEIGHLEY Cougars have announced that the club will once more be producing a printed matchday programme for home fixtures at Cougar Park.

The club, who have previously won awards for their programme, were unable to produce a programme last season as a result of the restrictions put in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now restrictions have been lifted, Keighley Cougars have again committed to producing a physical matchday programme as most clubs go digital and, in some cases, do not produce a programme whatsoever.

And the 2022 season will see the club enter into an exciting new partnership with Footie Print & Digital that will see the company design and produce their new look matchday programme, #PRIDE.

Footie Print & Digital have worked with over 30 football clubs at various levels over the 2021/22 season and come highly recommended to the club from connections within the sport of football as they look to branch out into a different sport.

A spokesperson for FootiePrint said: “We are delighted to be linking up with the Cougars, in a partnership which signals a new venture for FootiePrint into Rugby League match programmes.

“Having worked with over 30 football clubs during the current season, a change of sport is a refreshing change and we hope to work with the club for many seasons to come.

“We found the club highly professional and a pleasure to communicate with from the start, and the process of designing the new match programme for the Cougars’ faithful has been very smooth and enjoyable.

“We’d like to thank Josh (Chapman), Lisa (Gill) and all at the club for choosing to partner with us, and we hope the fans enjoy the new-look and article-filled programme. And of course we wish the Cougars all the best for the 2022 season.”

Joshua Chapman, head of media & administration at the Cougars, added: “We are once again thrilled to be able to be in a position to continue producing a matchday programme.

“A physical programme for supporters is something that we as a club from Mick O’Neill MBE downwards believe is a vital part of the matchday experience of many of our great fans.

“Once (general manager) Lisa and I spoke with the team at FootiePrint it was an absolute no brainer for us to enter into this new and exciting partnership.

“Over the past fortnight, myself, and the team at FootiePrint have put in hours of hard work to design and produce our 2022 matchday programme.

“It will bring with it a new look, new name, and new feel, and a programme we are all proud to be unveiling ahead of Sunday’s (today’s) first home game against Doncaster.

“I have no doubt that supporters both old and new will be very happy with the quality of look and content throughout the season.”

Keighley Cougars said they would like to place on record their thanks to Swiftprint, their previous programme supplier from 2016 until 2021, for all their work and support of the club during their near six-year partnership with the club.

As well as the new programme, fans can start celebrating experienced centre Jake Webster, whose testimonial year begins this month.
