A KEIGHLEY taekwondo club is celebrating, after one of its young talents struck gold on the international stage.
Yvie Ling Hegarty is just 12, but she did Beanland Taekwon-Do Keighley proud at the end of April, competing in both sparring and patterns at the ITFU European Championships in Poland.
Yvie won gold in patterns and silver in sparring, while young clubmate Filip Pilarski picked up a silver in sparring.
The latter put a brave fight for his silver, fighting against an opponent that was five years older than him.
