ECCLESHILL United have had a busy few days with preparations for next season well underway.

Newly appointed manager Ryan Toulson has added another talented player to his ranks ahead of the new campaign, with Fernando Moke arriving through the door.

Moke brings a wealth of experience, having played most of his career in the Northern Premier League.

In addition to the arrival of the new man, Eccleshill have also announced the retention of three key players.

Goalkeeper Ed Wilcynski has committed to the club for the forthcoming season (2022-2023). Ben Bodle and Kelvin Bleau have also had their stay with the club confirmed.

Discussing his decision to stay, Bodle said: "After speaking with Ryan and spending a short time on the training pitch, I’m looking forward to working with him and the rest of the lads over the remainder of pre-season and hopefully to build on last year."

Bleau said: "After speaking with Ryan about his vision for the club going forward and seeing some of his clear ideas of how he wants to play, I have decided to commit myself to the club for the upcoming season."

Elsewhere, Liversedge have announced the signings of forwards Iren Wilson and Shiraz Khan.

Highly-rated young striker, Wilson, scored 23 goals in the NCEL for Hallam last season.

Due to this form he was earmarked as having the potential to move up the pyramid with several clubs taking notice.

Khan spent time in the youth systems at Bradford City and FC Halifax Town before making the step into senior football with the latter.

The winger joined Ossett United in 2018/19 before joining Brighouse Town the following season.

Noted for having the pace and agility to beat defenders, he made 28 appearances and scored 7 goals for Brighouse last season.

Guiseley have also announced that Ethan Cartwright will return to Nethermoor next season after a short spell at the back end of the last campaign.

It comes after the club confirmed George Cantrill's departure. Cantrill scooped three end of season awards and went on to make over 100 appearances for the Lions.

And finally, Steeton have made their second new acquisition ahead of next season in the form of Teal Amos.

Amos, a 21-year-old midfielder, arrives at Marley Stadium after joining the club from NWCFL Premier Division outfit Padiham.

He joins Josh Walne, who signed with the Chevrons from Bacup Borough in May, as manager Roy Mason steps up his recruitment for the new campaign.
