KEIGHLEY Cougars have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their huge final-day game at London Broncos.
They travel to the capital locked in an epic survival battle with Whitehaven and Swinton, and with all three sat on 16 points, a win might not be enough to save Keighley, but a loss may still keep them up.
Cougars will have to do it all without talented centre Robbie Storey though, who broke his thumb in the heartbreaking 23-22 defeat to Halifax Panthers last Sunday.
He needs surgery on the injury, meaning his first campaign as a Cougar is over, and he will have to watch that final-day showdown from the sidelines.
Storey signed a two-year deal with Keighley ahead of this season, signing from League 1 side Doncaster.
He was a prolific try-scorer in the first half of the year, and has proved a vital figure since other big talents like Luke Gale, Ben Crooks and Dane Chisholm left the club in mid-season.
