Keighley Cougars have signed Featherstone Rovers hooker Harry Bowes on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old made 28 appearances in Betfred Super League for Wakefield Trinity, debuting as a teenager against Leeds Rhinos.
After playing 13 league matches for Wakefield in their 2023 relegation season, he left last winter to join Featherstone in the Championship.
Despite playing 25 times for Rovers this year, he is moving on to pastures new, and is an eye-catching signing for Cougars in the third tier.
Keighley's head coach Jake Webster said: "Harry is just what we were looking for.
"He gives us some zip at dummy half and is a great defender.
"He bolsters the spine positions and I am really looking forward to working with him."
