CROSSFLATTS are placed fourth in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Championship after an emphatic 9-1 win at struggling Harrogate Road.
Michael Garnett, Chris Morris and Stephen Schofield all grabbed a brace apiece, with Ollie Metcalfe, Matthew Bentham and Colin Schofield also finding the target.
Metcalfe claimed the man of the match award and veteran midfielder Ronnie Cartwright also played well.
The game saw a return to the side for club legend Joshua Green, who has been blighted with an ankle injury, from the bench.
He said: "It was great to be back gallivanting up and down the right flank again after the injury. I am nowhere near full fitness but I will get there."
Les Cooper, who was stand-in manager for the day, added: "We got the job done. We need to get a result against Bolton Woods Socials this Sunday and then it's on to Toller FC the week after, who are currently top of the league."
