Trent Alexander-Arnold was handed his first England start under Thomas Tuchel as Real Madrid team-mate Jude Bellingham dropped to the bench against Czechia.

The World Cup bronze medallists began life back in the Nations League top tier with a chaotic 3-2 defeat to Spain at a sold-out Wembley on Saturday.

Tuchel made four changes to that side as Group A3 continued in Prague, where Alexander-Arnold made his first England appearance since his last squad involvement in June 2025.

Alexander-Arnold starts at right-back in place of Jarell Quansah, with fellow defenders Lewis Hall and Trevoh Chalobah coming in for Nico O’Reilly – absent from the squad through injury – and Ezri Konsa.

Morgan Rogers replaced Bellingham at the Fortuna Arena in Prague, where goalkeeper James Trafford started again as planned.
