EVANS Walter George Alfred On September 19, peacefully at Townend Close Care Home, Cross Hills, Walter age 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Doreen, much loved dad of Stuart, Toni, Louise, Penny, Andy and Dawnn, a loving grandad, great-grandad and a much loved community figure. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 1, at South Craven Evangelical Church at 10.45am, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Glusburn Primary School. Provision will be available at the service or may be sent c/o Lyndon Leeson Funeral Director, 51 Bridge Street, Oakworth, BD22 7PX. There will be a memorial service in memory of Walter taking place on the evening of Monday, October 1, at Glusburn Primary School at 6.00pm for those who are not able to attend the funeral service.
