DEWHIRST Dr. Ian (MBE, BA) 17.10.1936 - 20.01.2019 On January 20, 2019 suddenly at home, Ian aged 82 years a local historian of Keighley. Loving brother to Pamela, brother-in-law to Mike, uncle to Melanie and Annette, uncle-in-law to Pete and Steve, great-uncle to Suzanne, Nicole, Jonathan and Jenna and a very dear friend to Susan. Much loved and will be greatly missed. In accordance with Ian's recent wishes the funeral will be held at Trinity Church, Fell Lane, Keighley on Friday, February 15, at 11.00am. Please note that space is very limited. His funeral service will be followed by a private cremation for family and close friends. Family flowers only please. Donations in Ian's memory to the British Heart Foundation. Provision will be made in church or may be sent to Lyndon M. Leeson Funeral Director, 51 Bridge Street, Oakworth, Keighley, BD22 7PX.
