NEWTON Eric Vera would like to thank the health care professionals, especially the District Nurses from Skipton Hospital who helped to care for Eric in his last weeks, members of the Ambulance Service and staff at Airedale General Hospital A&E department. Thanks to family, friends and neighbours for the lovely cards and kind expressions of sympathy. Grateful thanks to David Lawson at David Gallagher Funeral Directors for his compassion and his caring and helpful manner throughout the arrangements of Eric's funeral. Thanks also to Rev. Julie Bacon for her kind words and prayers. Last but not least to mine and Eric's family for their unfailing support enabling me to fulfill Eric's last wishes.
