KEIGHLEY Lions are proud to announce that 16-year-old Daniel Pearson has been awarded some very exciting training, helped – in part – by our club.
Daniel is currently the ‘youth voice’ for the One In A Million charity and Keighley Town Council’s Young Achiever 2023-24, and he recently attended a tree planting at Whins Wood organised by the Keighley Lions Den and club.
Through this, he has now been offered a six-month apprenticeship in outdoor wood/tree husbandry and outdoor play forestry training.
We are unbelievably proud of him!
What a role model for the town Daniel is – and best of luck with these exciting opportunities!
Special thanks go to Lion David Weston for helping him to start this journey.
