A harmonious blend of folk, soul, country and gospel is promised at the Exchange Arts Centre.
Polly and Billets Doux will headline a gig at the Russell Street, Keighley, venue on May 4. And Edwina Hayes will provide gentle folk and Americana, which sits somewhere between Joni Mitchell and Suzanne Vega, on April 26. The Exchange gets a mite noisier on May 10 when Evil Scarecrow – “everyone’s favourite scarecrow-based parody metal band” – promises a song about a robot.
The Explosive Light Orchestra – billed as the ultimate tribute to ELO – play on May 17. Call 01535 661591 for details.
