TWO NOEL Coward plays, Brief Encounter and Red Peppers, will be the next main stage productions at Ilkley Playhouse.
The two one-act plays, one about a doomed love affair and the other a bickering performance by two fading music hall stars, will run from November 5 to 15.
Both will be directed by Kay Vann, and rehearsals are underway for the rest of the 2014 season.
The December play is Murderer by Anthony Shaffer, running from December 10 to 20. This thriller is rich in plot twists and turns and is not for the faint-hearted.
The Ilkley Playhouse will show the film The Railway Man, starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman, on October 26 at 7pm.
