THE HERITAGE Boys from the Washburn Valley are playing a concert with supper at the Clarke Foley Centre, Ilkley, on Saturday.
The band started out playing songs remembered from the three boys’ youth in the 1960s and 1970s.
They played for one night only to raise funds to build the Washburn Valley Heritage Centre and were immediately asked to play again and again.
The latest concert is a joint fundraiser for Help for Heroes, the Heritage Boys’ charity for 2014, and the centre’s appeal for installation of automatic doors. The centre is organising several events over the next few months to raise £41,000.
Email clarkefoley2011@gmail.com or call 01943 607016 to book tickets, which cost £9.
