NO TRICKS at Keighley Comedy Club this month, only hilarious treats.
That’s the promise from organiser Chris Brooker as he unveils the line-up for the October show.
Chris, normally the evening’s compere MC, will this month take a backseat for guest MC Kevin Dewsbury.
Headliner for the night is Barry Dodds, hailed as one of the funniest men to ever emerge from the North East.
Chris said: “Gateshead's favourite son has a knack for telling some of the finest stories you'll find on a comedy club stage.”
Chris said the night would open in deliciously dark fashion in the company of Penella Mellor.
He said: “Softly spoken and understated, Penella has a scalpel wit that cuts to the quick in hilarious fashion.”
Keighley Comedy Club is at the Cafe Choux Choux on October 29 from 8.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 from the cafe at Keighley railway station, the Cricketers Arms in Coney Lane, or by searching for Keighley Comedy Club on Facebook.
