INTERNATIONAL singing star Jack Jones celebrates 100 years of Frank Sinatra at St George’s Hall in Bradford.
Jack, making a rare return to UK, can be seen in February 10 performing with his big band, to mark the release of his new album Seriously Frank.
The album has 13 tracks, a 22-piece orchestra and piano from Dave Grusin, and combines classic numbers with lesser-known songs, all arranged and conducted by Patrick Williams.
Both Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett rated Jack as ‘numero uno’, and he went on to record 60 albums and receive two Grammies.
He has performed at two Royal Variety Shows, has a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and was hailed by Mel Torme as “the greatest ‘pure singer’ in the world.”
