FIERY folksters Skinny Lister are set to play Leeds just days after releasing new album The Devil, The Heart And The Fight.
The gig at the city’s Brudenell Social Club on October 4, is the opening show for a UK tour.
Skinny Lister are described as an unstoppable, wide-eyed, rump-shaking force, and the album as a full-on rock record that "splashes punk vigour and eighties pop elements across their fervent folk canvas".
Expect songs blending Adam Ant and The Clash, with lead single Wanted a fiery Elvis-gone-folk roar.
The album was pieced together while the band were on the road, recorded over five weeks in Newcastle Under Lyme’s Silk Mill Studio.
