LEEDS band Brooders are following the success of their recent single Haze with a seven-date UK tour, beginning at their home city’s Packhorse.
The gig on Friday December 2, at the end of an almost continuous two-year programme of gigs, comes as they release new single Cling and prepare for the February release of a mini-album.
The psych-grunge three-piece take a fresh approach to the '90s traditions of angry emotive grunge, and set out to update it with monumental melodies, spine-tingling breakdowns and edge-of-the-seat hooks.
A spokesman said: “Screaming vocals, heavy drum fills, metal riffs, drops and breaks, have enabled Brooders to craft a sound that resonates with the gritty backdrop of the Leeds underground scene.”
