If you thought a Kerrang gig was solely based on heavy metal then you would be wrong.
Kicking off the Leeds date of the rock magazine's live tour was experimental/indie band Circa Survive who received a mixed reception.
They played well but didn't get the recognition they deserved.
Next up were rock bands Fightstar and Madina Lake.
Fightstar interacted more with the audience and didn't go without a cheer, even when their microphones misbehaved for a short time. Fightstar definitely changed the atmosphere of the gig for the better.
Madina Lake had a big audience and lots of encouragement. They played well and even threw some balloons in to interact with the audience.
The headliners, Coheed and Cambria, played brilliantly and definitely finished the night on a high with their vibrant and lively songs.
