The Cricketers Arms has pledged to continue its hugely popular comedy nights well into the New Year.
Organiser Chris Brooker is currently booking stars of the national stand-up comedy circuit for 2010 dates.
The monthly event is now so popular that tickets for each gig almost sell out at the previous month's event.
The Coney Lane pub started the comedy nights earlier this year in addition to live music several times a week.
