This Xbox 360 title was released to tie in with the film Prince of Persia.
It's a game that rides high on the back of a great pedigree and a game series that has a great deal of fans, so it's a brave choice to change the title so much.
Gone are the cartoon-style graphics for a more polished eye-pleasing affair, which is a welcome addition, and the responsive gameplay gives this title huge appeal.
The Forgotten Sands suffers slightly as it's now a movie tie-in so the storyline is more rigid and some of the elements that made the other titles outstanding are not noticeable.
Overall this title is an enjoyable romp, a platform game with emphasis on wall-running, pole-swinging, column-climbing and acrobatics, and enough puzzles to keep your thumbs busy for a number of hours.
