The second part of Opera North's four-year Ring Cycle, Wagner's Die Walküre, is performed at Leeds Town Hall in June.
The presentation follows last year's Das Rheingold, and has a cast including Alwyn Mellor as Sieglinde and Annalena Persson as Brünnhilde, with a UK debut for American tenor Erik Nelson Werner as Siegmund.
Director and designer Peter Mumford returns to create a heightened visual experience for the audience watching opera in concert.
Wagner's full Ring Cycle is being produced over four years by Opera North, continuing with Siegfried in 2013 and Götterdämmerung in 2014.
Performances are Saturday (4.30pm), Wednesday and June 27 (5pm), in German with English titles. Book on 0113 224 3801.
