Japandroids are among bands performing at the Beacons Festival which runs on August 17-19 on the Funkirk Estate near Skipton.
Vancouver duo Japandroids this year released their second album Celebration Rock which is said to contain stadium-proof rock songs.
"Scream along until your lungs bleed" was the suggestion from Blackbook Magazine in hearing the album.
Among dozens of other bands and DJs at the festival will be Wild Beasts, Toots and the Maytals, Roots Manuva, Patrick Wolf, Mount Kimbie and the Felice Brothers.
