Mystery still surrounds the death of a Keighley woman found dead in bed.

Ruth Turner, who was 27, was discovered at her home in Bogthorn on September 16 last year but a post mortem examination has not been able to establish why she died.

A Bradford inquest on Tuesday heard Miss Turner was being treated for ovarian cancer at the time but her GP and a Manorlands doctor were satisfied the disease was not linked to her death.

Toxicology tests found cannabis in her system but not enough to have affected what happened to her. Coroner Peter Straker recorded an open verdict.
