McDonald’s staff had a clean sweep as they began their partnership with nearby Eastwood Primary School.
Three workers from the fast-food restaurant joined six pupils to clear up the area surrounding the school grounds.
The Hard Ings Road restaurant has also agreed to provide at least £500 from its community fund to the school.
The money will pay for a new football kit and could be followed by fundraising support for the school.
McDonald’s said staff wanted to help improve sporting opportunities for the pupils.
