Tribute was paid to carers when they met at Keighley’s Farfield Group Practice.
Town mayor Councillor Sally Walker opened the event and spoke about carers’ work in the local community.Dr Phillippa Smith thanked the carers for their dedication, and Linda Manley shared her experiences of helping more than 30 families. Carers Resource was also present to provide support and information.
Afternoon tea was provided by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and pampering was offered by masseurs from Beauty Salon, Saltaire.
