A Keighley man appeared before Bradford magistrates on Tuesday charged with attempted rape.
The 32-year-old man was arrested on Sunday morning by police responding to an allegation of sexual assault in Highfield Lane.
Police had been called to the Keighley neighbourhood at 2.42am.
The man has been sent for trial at Bradford Crown Court on September 10.
