A plan by Sutton Cricket Club to build a pavilion at its field bordered by Sutton Lane was due to be decided by Craven District Council’s planning committee yesterday.
The application, which was called in to committee because of the high level of public interest, was recommended for refusal by planning officers, despite having the support of the parish council.
