The pumps are primed for the inaugural three-day Airedale Beer Festival beginning tomorrow It is being staged in the grounds of the Airedale Heifer pub in Bradford Road, Sandbeds.
The pub is now managed by Bridgehouse Brewery in Oxenhope, which is organising the festival.
“There has been a great deal of interest, and we are hoping for a bumper turnout,” said Simon Lamb, Bridgehouse Brewery’s new head of sales and marketing. Mr Lamb confirmed more than 50 ales would be on tap at the event.
Live music, provided by local artists and bands, along with food and children’s entertainment, are being laid on to make the occasion a real family affair.
A ‘Bat the Rat’ game is a new addition to the wide-ranging line-up of activities to raise money for Manorlands and Help for Heroes.
Headline sponsors are mobile phone recycling company MPRO, Illingworth McNair Insurance Brokers, the Airedale Heifer and DML Digital Print.
In addition to day and weekend tickets, admission will be available on the gate, which opens at noon on all three days.
