Two men were arrested following a night-time road accident on the moors above Oxenhope on Friday.
The men were taken to hospital after a Land Rover Discovery left the road in Hill House Edge Lane at about 2.30am.
The passenger was released soon afterwards, and the driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Leeds General Infirmary.
The passenger, who lives in Keighley, and the driver were later both arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident, and found the Land Rover had plummeted down banking.
