Groups in neighbourhoods around Keighley town centre are being invited to apply for up to £2,500 from the Community First fund.
The Community First panel wants to fund projects that will make a difference to the lives of people living in Keighley Central ward.
Community development worker, Jo Horrox, said that for the first time groups will be asked to present their project ideas to the panel in person.
She added: “Groups will still have to apply by an application form, but it will make the process more effective.”
Projects must be match-funded pound-for-pound with other contributions or in volunteer time. Groups who have previously made unsuccessful bids can apply again.
