Members of a Keighley Muslim community visited a care home.
Women from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association chatted with residents of Norwood House in Greenthwaite Close.
Jennifer Smouse, the manager of Norwood House, said the ladies took along gifts and sweets for the residents just before Christmas.
She said: “It was a very good gesture and shows all communities can live in peace and harmony respecting each other.
“Our residents were very pleased to see them and exchanged Christmas and New Year greetings.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, which has a mosque in Long Croft, Keighley, follows the motto of “love for all, hatred for none”.
Keighley’s Ahmadi Muslims recently donated £500 towards the sponsorship efforts of Keighley News editor, Richard Parker, who will run the London Marathon this year in aid of Manorlands.
