An inquest into how a man died soon after he had been released from Keighley police station has been adjourned.
Simon Clifford, 47, had been speaking to officers at the police station on October 28, 2012, the evening before he died.
The inquest opening on Friday heard Mr Clifford was released in the early hours of the next day, and was believed to have been making his way home on foot.
He appeared to have been involved in a collision with a car being driven by a taxi driver in Bradford Road, Riddlesden.
Mr Clifford, of Sandhill Mount in, Thorpe Edge, Bradford, died from multiple injuries. The inquest will resume on February 6.
