A new project will support Keighley people from ethnic minorities who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered.
Members of the Keighley and District LGB&T group are supporting the Bradford district-wide Visibility Project.
The project aims to challenge negative attitudes towards people who identify themselves as both LGB&T and black or minority ethnic. It will also raise awareness of issues affecting such individuals, as well as looking at their needs.
The Visibility Project grew out of research by the Equity Partnership, a Bradford-based charity that represents LGB&T communities. E-mail yasar@-equitypartnership.org.uk or call (01274) 727759.
