A Keighley arcade restored to its original Victorian grandeur will be officially reopened next week.
Lord Mayor of Bradford Khadim Hussain, a Keighley Central councillor, will unveil a plaque on Wednesday marking the refurbishment of the North Street building.
A £725,000 grant from the Keighley Townscape Heritage Initiative, financed by Brad-ford Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, helped cover the cost of the scheme.
Coun Hussain said: “This restoration is impressive, revealing beautiful ornate features.
“I’m sure people will appreciate the work that has been carried out when they see it.”
As part of the initiative, tiled walls and a modern front were replaced with ornate windows, and original features were replicated.
Damaged cement on the back of the building was replaced with traditional lime render, original sash windows and a marble terrazzo floor were restored, and a replacement glazed canopy was installed. Empty upper-floor offices were converted into apartments.
