Fire has been breathed into a Keighley nursery school project.
A dragon dance parade was among a range of activities at Strong Close to celebrate the recent Chinese New Year.
The children also prepared vegetables to make a stir fry, which was eaten with Chinese pancakes, and they tried eating noodles using chopsticks. They made Chinese lanterns, hats and horse masks – to mark the Year of the Horse – and acted out the zodiac story.
And the youngsters watched lion and dragon dancing on an interactive white board. Their own dragon dance was filmed. Each child received a fortune cookie to take home.
