The job interview experience should hopefully be less daunting for South Craven School pupils thanks to an exercise to help them hone presentation skills.
A team led by Karen Higson, advice and guidance officer at the Cross Hills school, staged the session to give Year 11 and Year 13 students an idea of what to expect and to develop their confidence for that crucial first encounter with a potential employer.
Among those who came into school to interview the pupils were employers from local businesses, Craven College and Keighley councillor Adrian Farley.
A school spokesman said: “In preparation, the students were given a list of question they would be asked, and they also had to submit a CV.
“At the end of the interview, each student was given feedback.”
