A WOMAN had to be rescued by firefighters after a wardrobe fell on her in the middle of the night.
The 42-year-old woman, who had been alone in her house, was trapped for an hour but managed to raise the alarm by reaching a mobile phone.
Firefighters were called out to the home, in Devonshire Street, Keighley, at 2.20am today.
Keighley watch commander Steve Moorhouse said: "Apparently, she couldn't sleep, so she had decided to move some bedroom furniture around."
The firefighters lifted the wardrobe off the woman and helped her out of the house to be seen by paramedics for a suspected neck or back injury.
