A DRUMMER beat a path to a Keighley nursery school to perform at an Eid celebration.
The dhol player, from the Punjabi Roots Academy, entertained at a party at Strong Close.
Dressed in traditional costume, he encouraged youngsters, parents and staff to join in some bhangra dance moves.
The event – organised by teacher Aliyah Salam – also featured a variety of foods, including poppadoms and dips, rice, dhal, vegetable curry, samosas, pakoras and kebabs.
Parents volunteered their services cooking, decorating hands with mendhi and plaiting and braiding the children's hair.
And the youngsters sat on a 'magic carpet' to listen to the story of Aladdin, told by Mark Anderson.
Deputy head, Julie Groves, said: "A large number of parents joined in the celebration and there were some lovely comments.
"One said there was lots for the children to remember and talk about and another commented on the lovely atmosphere."
On a separate day the nursery also welcomed a Bollywood dance teacher, who led workshops.
